monty & angelica's engagements

Usually every year the women's group in my church throws a service auction for a fun activity. I love it--you get to see everyone's talents and get to know them so much better! People are seriously so gifted, it's amazing. I like to auction off a photoshoot and this year's winners were Angelica and Monty! She is so sweet and down-to-earth and they were both so chill and open that it was easy and so fun. We went to Graylyn's beautiful grounds and even Bruce tagged along for comic relief. (Like when he almost knocked me into the pond... ok that wasn't funny but when he fell in it sure was!)

 

 fun fact: angelica had actually not seen her real ring yet! so I got to capture her true surprise and excitement at seeing it for the first time. and I don't blame her, it's gorgeous!!

the belk family

The Belks are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and their daughter is just about the cutest thing out there. I had so much fun taking their pictures on a beautiful morning in NC, one of my favorite shoots to date! They made it easy, such a gorgeous family!
