Over Thanksgiving we were lucky enough to see most of Austin's family up in the DC area and see our little niece get blessed. It was a great trip! I also got to take some family photos for his brother and our sister-in-law. Little buddy wasn't too pleased about taking pictures but we snuck a few good ones in there. Baby girl just snoozed the whole time like the little angel she is. :) It was cold but great fun! Thanks Sheryl and O for providing the entertainment!

the kelly family

It feels like it's been so busy this season! I'm so grateful for it. I love taking pictures of all these beautiful families!

Yesterday I got to officially meet and hang out with the Kelly family at Old Salem for some photos. I was so excited when Ashley messaged me a little while back. They are the cutest family and so nice! It was also fun to learn that Dave knows a lot of the surgeons that I work with! Their kids are adorable and were good sports for giving up their Saturday morning on a cold day. ;) Just a great family all around!

sweet baby will

I had the blessed opportunity to meet and photograph our new little nephew (he's our cousin's baby, but he feels like our nephew). Baby Will was born with a heart defect--transposition of the great vessels--and so had to have open heart surgery not long after he was born. Amber asked for some pictures of him the day before surgery and I was so happy to oblige! I know he is just a newborn but you can just tell that he has a very sweet and very strong spirit, and is such a fighter. He was so calm and sweet the entire time, and I love him so much already. He is doing well and is home with three older brothers to help take care of him. :) Meet little Will!
